Assistant Professor Srini Venugopal Talks About Using Business for Social Change

Growing up in the Indian city of Chennai, “poverty is something that you see all around,” says Srini Venugopal, an assistant professor of marketing here at the UVM Grossman School of Business.

He began thinking about social entrepreneurship, or using business for social change, and now immerses himself in communities around the world to study the transformative affect running a business can have on a person’s life.
