National Diversity Case Competition

On January 18-19th Natalia Ruiz, Vanessa Rodriquez, Jay Murphy, and Aakar Desai represented the Grossman School of Business at the 8th annual National Diversity Case Competition at the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. Please join me in congratulating  Natalia Ruiz, Vanessa Rodriquez, Jay Murphy, and Aakar Desai, on their podium finish.

These students won the first round of the completion, defeating Babson, SUNY, Emory, Vanderbilt, and Purdue. They advanced to the final round, where they placed 5th. Among the 42 schools they defeated were, Boston College, Brigham Young, the University of Connecticut, and Cornell. The case was provided by Target Corporation. The top seven schools’ work will be used by the company to inform its small store format strategy.
