Responsibilities: Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials. Assist with marketing research data analysis to help Directors make better informed marketing decisions. Assist with event preparation – Press conferences, promotional travel conferences, etc. Assist in representing the Airport at community events, as needed – Tabling for brand awareness, etc. Assist with coordination of merchandise program. Assist with the management and development of content for social media sites- Focus on Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.Assist with copy generation – Press releases, presentations, social media, etc.Assist with customer service programs – Lost and found requests, answering phones, etc.
Qualifications: Strong knowledge of the digital media landscape. Self-starter; able to work well without continuous direction. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Customer service experience preferred. Working towards a B.S. in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
Time Commitment: Approximately 10 - 15 hours a week for spring 2020 semester. Intern can make their own schedule weekly to accommodate their class schedule.
